Genesis of My Call to Africa

During a 40-day fast in 1984, I was shown, in a vision, the map of Africa. Two places—one on the east and the other in the west, lighted up on the map. The Word of the Lord came unto me: “I will bring you to Africa where you will bring My light.” Later, when I checked the two places on a map, I found they were Kenya and Nigeria. Being just a simple nobody evangelist in those days, I didn’t know how this will happen, but waited patiently for God’s time to come.

Then, in October 1994, I received an invitation to visit Kenya for a week of meetings in Nairobi. Later, I was invited to Johannesburg, South Africa in January 1995. I was invited again in 1997 to South Africa to speak at the End-times Handmaidens & Servants Convention in Johannesburg. Then, there was a long period of silence and I did not go to Africa. On March 2, 2014, the Word of the Lord came unto me: “I will open the nations of Africa to you; particularly Nigeria. Go and prepare My people and My servants.”

Soon after, in May 2015, I received an invitation to preach at a prophetic conference in Lagos, Nigeria. Thus, that which God showed me in 1984 came to pass after 31 years. I thought that was the end, but it was not so in the predestined will of God.

I was invited again to Nigeria to conduct a Youth Campmeeting in Lagos in June 2016. 500 youths came from all over Nigeria, and some even came from Ghana and Namibia. The youths were rejuvenated in the spirit and gloriously baptized with the Holy Spirit.

During the Campmeeting, one day as I was praying, I heard the still small voice of the Lord Jesus Christ say, “Will you prepare My Army in Africa?” When I answered the Lord in the affirmative, He further said, “Prepare My Army in this continent. Prepare Me an Army that will wait on Me, fear Me, and follow My ways. Nigeria shall be your base in Africa.”

Having received a fresh new mandate from the Lord, we opened an office in Lagos, Nigeria, and got Jesus Ministries legally registered.

Then on May 11, 2016, while in Lagos, Nigeria, the Word of the Lord came unto me: “You must teach the last days Army of God (in Africa) concerning how to work together with the saints and angels. Teach them how their spiritual eyes can be opened and spiritual senses activated.” Ever since then, we have been to Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, DR Congo, Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Cameroon, and Zambia and conducted prophetic campmeetings and conferences for Youths, Children, and Women. We have conducted a School of the Prophets in Nigeria.

The Ghana Connection

While conducting a prophetic conference in Accra, Ghana in July 2018, a Ghanaian couple—Mr. & Mrs. Prempeh requested to see me. They testified how my teachings had greatly blessed them and how much they have grown in the Lord watching Angel TV programs. Mrs. Prempeh then shared that she and her husband want to donate part of their property – about 8 acres – to our ministry for the proclamation of the end-times prophetic messages.

Surprised by this offer, I told them I will seek the Lord’s will about their kind and generous gift and also asked them to discuss with their family, pray earnestly over the decision, and let me know.

A couple of weeks later Mrs. Prempeh contacted us again, saying that their family is more than convinced that they were to donate the 8 acres of land to our ministry. I bent my knees to give thanks to God. We then formally registered Jesus Ministries in Ghana on September 5, 2018, so that the property can be legally deeded to the ministry. The legal works were all completed by Mrs. Prempeh.

Jesus Ministries Bible College – Ghana Campus

The gifted land is situated in the city, Kumasi, south-central Ghana. Kumasi is 202 km away from the capital Accra and is about 45 mins. by flight. The land is about 90 mins. away from the city in a quiet rural area – a very conducive environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city to be quiet with the Lord.

There is a small office complex (in very good condition) and a purpose-built building for a Bible School. The building is incomplete and skeletal. It has become structurally quite unsafe for use. I took a God-fearing professional structural engineer with me in April 2019 to see the usability of the building. After assessing it, he said the unfinished building is structurally unsafe for use and must be demolished.

Mission and Vision for Bible College

The college will carry out the same purpose and mission as the Jesus Ministries Online Bible College. The difference will be the special emphasis to raise God’s Army in Africa. This will be done through intensive training of children, youths, women, and pastors become the end-time Joel Army.

The College will teach, train, mentor, and nurture the students to know the Lord Jesus intimately, to walk with Him, to talk with Him, and to work with Him. Then, the Holy Spirit can lead them to perform the Lord Jesus’ plans and purposes for them.

On July 7, 2021, while waiting on God, I saw the Lord Jesus in the heavens, and He said, “The purpose of this college is to train the Army of God to be strong and mighty.” That is, to be strong in the Word and mighty in deeds—works.

They will be mentored personally by me and by the team that God has called, chosen, and yoked together with me.

The Mandate

The Online Bible College and a physical college in Africa is another phase of our ministry. It will launch our greatest training program to make disciples of all nations and to prepare the remnants through online and the physical college.

This College will train Africans to reach Africa and train the children, youths, men, women, and pastors prepare their nations for the coming of the Lord.

In July 2019, God gave me the incredible mandate of raising 10,000 prophets all over the world through the School of the Prophets to prepare the way of the Lord. The college in Africa will chiefly train and equip Africans for this task.

The College, with powerful teachings and prophetic messages from me, will be a vital part of our spiritual arsenal to achieve God’s mandate.

The College is a strategic part of God’s plan to reach the whole of Africa! God has also given me an insight a few days ago to have satellite campuses in several nations of Africa, such as – Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa, connected with high-speed Internet so that students who are poor and living far from Ghana can attend these prophetic classes.

Interestingly, during the dedication of the college on July 1, 2021, at Gettysburg, USA, Rev. Dr. Steven Francis, prophesied that there will be satellite campuses set up in several nations. What an affirmation!

The Present

By the grace of God, one of the students at the Jesus Ministries’ Online Bible School is an architect and building consultant. He came forward to help design the architectural drawings and blueprints for the college.

So, in the past few months, I met with the team via zoom and explained the whole project to them. They were very excited to partner with this end-time project.

The God-fearing Ghanian architect has wonderfully designed the college with the concept I gave him.

With the funds we have raised so far, about US$1 million, we will, by God’s grace, in the first phase build the main building. The main building you see in the two pictures will house the Administrative offices, Chancellor’s office, Deans’ offices, Library, Bookstore, Lecture rooms, Restrooms, Security monitoring room, IT Server room, Store room, Medical Clinic, etc.

In the second phase, we propose to build, as God provides us the funds, hostels for men and women, a 500-seater conference center, and a wellness center.

This is the master plan for the Jesus Ministries Africa Bible College in Ghana. These facilities will be solely used to raise the prophetic Army of God in Africa.

I sincerely thank you for what you have sown so far towards this project. But this is just the beginning. Through your continual generous partnership, we will complete the whole project by the end of December 2022.

Then your eye will see, and your ears will hear of Africans of every tribe and nation in the African continent preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom to prepare the way of the Lord in Africa.

As much as you continue to sow your finances, I also need you to uphold our hands through prayer. Please pray for the following:

  1. Pray for Bro Sadhu as he will be sensitive and will be led by the Lord for the planning of the school construction works.
  2. Pray that whatever plans Bro Sadhu shares with the architect, and engineers, they will understand it wholeheartedly and do as the Holy Spirit will lead them. No self or human intervention should affect the plans of God.
  3. Pray for God to break the strongman and principality of the Land and deliver the Land to Christ and His Saints.

(The Bible College is located near a town called Antoa where there is a prominent "river deity" called Antoa Nyama which is always used to curse people and to seek "justice" for the aggrieved. Many Ghanaians travel to that shrine. The school is less than 10km away.)

  4. Pray that at the breaking of the ground, a New Covenant shall be written in the Land.
  1. Pray that God will gather the required God-fearing helpers and resources to come to build God's house – 1 Kings 5:1-12
  2. Pray that we shall receive the required initial approvals from the Council Authorities on time.
  3. Pray for God’s favor to be upon the team as they approach the relevant authorities for approval. Pray for the wisdom and counsel of God to be upon them.
  4. Pray that God shall touch the heart of His children to give generously to build His house – Ezra 1:4-6
  5. Pray for God to grant favorable weather to complete the building works on time.
  6. Pray for God to raise an army of prayer warriors to pray for this work.
  7. Pray for God's blessing to be upon all those who send their sacrificial offering towards this project.

I pray the Lord God will water you and cause you and your family to be blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. Amen.

With love and blessings,

Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj
