BENEFITS OF BECOMING A LDPTC STUDENT

We have designed our courses, counseled by the Lord Jesus, on what He wants His people to know and how to be trained to fulfill His purposes for them. This will benefit believers who are serious about obeying the biblical call upon their lives. Students at LDPTC find that they have the opportunity to become enriched by the impartation of the gifts of our outstanding faculty.

The college commits itself to helping students become aware of the work of God in their lives through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Students are taught sound and balanced doctrine, how to use their Bible, and how to separate truth from error. The result should be growth in spiritual stature and in their ability to serve the Lord Jesus Christ successfully.

REQUIREMENTS

  • All students must make a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and give evidence of a continuing relationship with God. Students must have a desire to reach greater maturity through Christ Jesus. Students must submit their lives to the absolute lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • As an online college program that offers distance learning, we need to take steps to confirm student identification. In other words, we must take steps that the student that is enrolled in the course of study is the same person that is completing the assignments and taking tests to receive credit. This is to protect the student’s identification and privacy, to make sure that someone else is not taking your courses and accessing library materials without paying tuition. It is also for the integrity of our college program that the students enrolled are doing their course work and rightly receiving credit.
  • When you enroll, you may be asked to provide an identification number from a government-issued, photo identification card (e.g. a driver’s license or passport). At the time of submitting assignments or taking tests, we will take steps to confirm your identity, either by answering a security question or using a webcam so that your professor has visual confirmation of your identity. Again, this is to protect your enrollment in our seminary, and to maintain the seminary’s integrity of confirming student identity, as required by accreditation agencies.
  • Since our programs are completed entirely online, our students will need to have basic computer skills. It is not advisable to use mobile devices to access your lessons.
  • All of our course works and textbooks are in English. Our students must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English. For many of our students, English is not their first language. We would encourage you to consider carefully your English skills before applying for these courses.
  • All students must be actively involved in a local church or ministry.
  • All admissions are subject to final approval by the Academic Board of LDPTC.
